And the case of this Syma x5C Explorers, Chinese product but very robust considering the tens of falls which is already done in about a week of use. The battery life is limited to a few minutes of flight. The camera can be activated by remote control for photo and video quality it is in my opinion more than adequate for the model and the price. Obviously, the resulting videos are amateur. Furthermore, the most obvious problem is that the camera fixed to the body of the helicopter in the video reports any undesired movement of the latter.

MicroSD 4 GB memory is included as well as USB and MicroSD Reader, and spare propellers. The battery is recharged via USB plug with bright effected charge indicator. The synchronization with the remote control is immediate and Quadcopter responding impressively. There is no latency between when you move the joystick when the Syma x5C performs the movement. Fantastic the opportunity to make that Syma x5C make one revolution of the complete death in the air in a completely autonomous.

The feeling for this product is that despite being budget every aspect is designed in the best way compared to competitive models. The base is of soft plastic, this allows to make soft landings. The battery charger is as big as a USB stick and integrates the full charge light: practical and complete.

The propeller plastic caps make Syma x5C lightweight in design but-proof wall. Other Quadcopter integrate the polystyrene protection which I think makes them cumbersome and impractical. Very easy to fly, after 2 hours of testing and setting in the garage, I was able to use it with reasonable assurance. The display of the remote control we can see some values as the vertical roll, horizontal, power assigned to the motors and the level of charge of the battery in the remote. Under the four arms of the drone, there are LEDs, two orange and two green serving in directing the device.

Also when the battery gets low the LEDs flash and the engines for about five seconds automatically power drop and off. The advice is to set up a six-minute timer since the duration of a battery is an average of 7 minutes in order not to fall to the bottom. The remote has a range of about 100 meters, which are quite sufficient. The 2 megapixel camera records video and takes pictures of respectable quality, and the files can be easily removed through the micro-sd 4 gb provided.

Syma x5C is low-cost product, which collects acclaim for good value for money. Dedicated to those who want to have fun doing aerial photography in a completely amateur, it’s a game and not a professional product.
